The mission of the San Benito Resource Conservation District (SBRCD) is to
develop and facilitate community-led conservation programs that conserve, protect, and enhance the natural resources of San Benito County.
The SBRCD is a non-regulatory special district committed to helping property owners conserve natural resources on their land. The district advises and assists private landowners and public agencies with the conservation of soil, water, habitat for plants and animals, and other natural resources.
Create working partnerships with relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals to develop and implement programs that support the mission. Programs include education and outreach, field tours, project implementation, and more.

The San Benito Resource Conservation District facilitates stewardship projects to address soil and water quality, biodiversity, and ecosystem health on private and public lands through technical assistance, outreach, education and project implementation.
